SANY Reach Stacker Handles Boeing 737 in Indonesia Successfully

On January 5th, 2018, PT. Tungya yard witnessed a special hoisting project: to hoist the Boeing 737 airplane onto the FR containers precisely. The equipment used for the operation is Sany reach stacker.

According to the forwarder company, the Boeing 737-300 airplane is a discarded machine from a local airline corporation, it will be used for training or theme restaurant after refurbishment. The plane is split into 4 parts: the front head, the plane body, the rear end and the wings. The size of the rear end is 14.4m*3.72*3.5m and the size of the wings is 15.6m*4.5m*3m.

To handle this project, the technicians from Tungya yard and the shipper discussed a detailed hoisting plan and the preparation work. Under the circumstance of no definite hoisting point and central point of the hoisting components, Sany reach stacker accomplished the hoisting task successfully with its stable operation and flexible control, which won the appraisal and confidence of the customer.

Tungya yard has been cooperating with Sany since 2010. So far Tungya yard has purchased 1 reach stacker and 8 empty container handlers from Sany.
